Pretty in Pink!

How lucky is Miss Evie to have an Auntie who is a photographer/portrait artist?  My sister did a little "first birthday" photo session with her this weekend and I just adore the precious moments she captured on film.  Of course Im bias, but you must check out her phenomenal work yourself!

Sharing just a few of my favorites...oh so many cute ones to choose from:-)

Kissie-kissie!!

Absolutley darling! She's gorgeous! I love the funny lip picture. Even though hers and your road has been rough you are so lucky to have each other. I can only imagine how you must cherish every day you have with her!

All sooo sweet. The one holding the cup gets my vote... Katherine is...hummm... being simple, all my vocabulary words are lame... she's just so darn talented and skilled and awesome and stuff....

The pictures are precious! She is absolutely adorable!!!

We think of Evie and Annabelle all the time. They are so special to us.

Gray has an echo today. We carry memories of MUSC with us everywhere that we go.

I am glad that you had a wonderful birthday celebration.

PRECIOUS! Katherine is so gifted...although I have to admit that her subject is adorable so it didn't make her job too difficult!
BEAUTIFUL!!!

How very blessed we all are to know you & watch your example of Christ-centered focus on family and ministry. I vote for the first picture enjoying the contrast in scale between Evie's precious little hand/body in pink & the porcelain tea cup.
How fun to see your Mother's genes as you have the ultimate tea party & bake the artistic rolled fondant cake. Julia Child's could not have topped your creation !!
Katherine, you are quite gifted and little Evie's so photogenic.
Blessings to all the Scheidts - I am assuming that David is Zachery's son.
Love from all the Crains. Wrenda

I found your blog through Annabelle's and your Evie is beautiful. My daughter, Maggie Jane, was born with HRHS, Transposition of Greater Arteries, Double Inlet Left Ventricle, and Interrupted Aortic arch. She was born on April 4, 2007 and is a very busy 23 month old. She definitely keeps us on our toes. Thanks for sharing Evie's story through your blog. God is so good and His story through our girls is beautiful.
