Ringing in 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS!!!
"Uncle Raisin" is visiting from Seattle. Poor guy thought he was coming to visit for a fun holiday break. Instead C has roped him in to a project! Thanks to these guys, I now have a newly tiled kitchen floor!
This multi-talented, dynamic duo also specializes in explosives!
The guys surprised the kids with a fantastic fireworks display to ring in the New Year.
Roman candles, sparklers and bottle rockets lit up the kids faces and the sparkle reflected in their eyes.
Awe and wonder and a hint of danger made it all that much more fun!
Yes, those are rollers in Abi's hair! We bathed, curled and jamm-ied the kids and celebrated the evening with board games and fire works all in time to have kiddos in bed before 9:00.
A successful evening in my book!
Typical Izzy posture!
Anticipating great things in 2011 and trusting God with the uncertainties as we begin a new year knowing that He will not lead us where He has not already gone before and prepared the way!

Congrats on the new floor, Mandy! It's always nice to get something like that done. Those rollers in Abi's hair remind me of my childhood when I wore them every night of my life...lol! The kids look so happy to have the sparklers and fireworks to ring in the New Year...fun!! We, too, were in bed by 9 but because we were babysitting and worn out!!
Happy New Years!!

Evie doesn't look so happy in that first pic. that was me when I was little. Always had my ears plugged during fireworks. Hated them!
